The Contractor Safety Passport Management System (CSMS) is a system that captures all the workers data in single software to assist the Management on tracking and managing the entire Contractor workforce and vehicle movement at Site. It captures all the personal information with regards to name, nationality, previous skills, medical reports, and Safety trainings undergone and its validity etc. This will help to maintain a high level of safety throughout the construction project, as well as keep track of all important information regarding an employee and serves as an early warning system.
The proposed system will fulfill the following objectives:
A. Maintain two main databases containing:
i. Individual worker’s information (next of kin, certification authority, validity period, etc.)
ii. Vehicle permits details (permit authority, validation period, etc.)
iii. Scanned documents / certificate to training received by workers and store it
iv. Scanned documents / permits for vehicles and store it.
B. Send a warning email to three parties on a date before the expiry of a validation / certification, as well as on the date of the expiry.
Generate printable report(s) containing information from both workers and vehicles databases; information generated can be selected based on an editable filter, for example, workers’ information reports can be filtered by company, by ID, by training, by certificate, etc. Below are the forms which will make up the bulk of the proposed system. It will give a general idea of how the system will look and function.
